ART EDUCATION
As a Visual Arts specialist teacher, I provide various lessons at primary schools. In addition, I develop visual arts lessons around different themes, in consultation with the teachers.
TOWER LESSONS
Primary school students groups 7 and 8 who can handle more challenge outside regular school lessons receive Art appreciation classes in the Dijkpoort. Each lesson focuses on a different artist, and we work at the long tables using that artist’s materials and techniques. The series concludes with a visit to Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle.
CULTURAL HERITAGE EDUCATION
Through the Dijkpoort, I work as a heritage educator, giving lessons to primary school children.
Together with other heritage providers in the region, we develop educational materials to ensure that quality heritage education is available to primary schools. All these on-site lessons can be found on the website of the Heritage Learning Pathway by Erfgoed Gelderland: www.reizenindetijd.nl.
